Senior Account Executive

We’re looking for a Senior Account Executive to join our high performing sales team and consistently achieve and exceed targets - and be a part of our amazing culture You will be responsible for selling Avanti’s core Payroll and HCM solutions to mid-market businesses across Canada. You will own your pipeline, engage in multi-threaded prospect relationships, uncover pain points, quantify the value that Avanti creates for the prospects organization and effectively manage the sales cycle with prospective clients.

What you’ll do:
- Build and manage your pipeline to repeatedly and predictably attain your quota and expand Avanti’s value
- Conduct intro calls to effectively build rapport and convey our value proposition to early-stage buyers
- Lead discovery calls and ongoing discovery conversations to effectively uncover pain points and identify key strategic priorities to initiate the buying process
- Develop mutually beneficial relationships with C suite and other key decision makers and champions
- Leverage insights of prospect’s business and industry, as well as Avanti’s core capabilities to establish value and create new opportunities
- Create proposals, success plans, and contracts that summarize pain-points, benefits, ROI, costs, timelines, etc. to satisfy client needs
- Maintain accurate and timely customer, pipeline, and forecast data in Salesforce
- Attend, facilitate, and/or participate in Sales events such as tradeshows, podcasts, thought leadership sessions, etc.
Who we’re looking for:
- Proven track record of building a sales pipeline that sees you meeting and exceeding monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets, with the repeated ability to close deals
- Entrepreneurial, self-driven and highly motivated to exceed targets and goals
- Experience negotiating large enterprise software deals with an ACV ~$80-100K, and sales cycles of 4-6 months
- Ability to manage 20-30 active prospects or opportunities at any given time
- A hunter who thrives on pursuing net new clients, developing business, and networking with a passion
- 6+ years of experience in a B2B SaaS Sales / Account Executive role selling enterprise software
- Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
- Unrivaled professional discovery, presentation, and influencing skills to C-Level Executives
- Track record of delivering high-quality results in a timely manner while under pressure
- Ability to manage and work across multiple projects at once
- Ability to learn new skills and operate in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proven ability to develop deep, lasting client relationships
- Prior experience with HCM and/or Payroll software is considered an asset
