Human Resources Coordinator

Location: Hybrid in Kingston or Toronto (York Mills)


Empire life is looking to hire a Human Resources Coordinator to join our Human Resources team as a part of our Human Resources Rotational Program


Over 24-36 months you will gain hands-on, well-rounded, and meaningful experience by cycling through various HR functions. Each rotation will provide you the opportunity to work on impactful projects, develop leadership skills, and acquire a specialized HR skill set. Rotations are based on interests and impact to ensure you are prepared for future success. Departments include Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Organizational Development, Compensation, and Wellness & Inclusion.

What you’ll be working on

  • Collaborate with key internal stakeholders in the development, implementation, and administration of Human Resources programs, initiatives, and services.
  • Support initiatives by conducting research, due-diligence, and analyzing trends and data.
  • Help prepare and distribute documentation regarding existing and new HR processes.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with teams, key stakeholders and partners, internally and externally.
  • Participate in professional development and networking opportunities to increase knowledge and understanding of key HR trends and tools.
