About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to join our team. As HR Manager, you will provide strategic support to our leaders, ensuring effective team management and risk mitigation. You will lead a team of 5 and have solid business sense, with the ability to create a comprehensive plan that integrates recruitment/retention, compensation, recognition/rewards, performance management, labour relations, Occupational Health and Safety, HRIS, payroll, and deliver results.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive the implementation of HR initiatives
  • Maintain compliance with policies and labour laws, occupational health and safety
  • Provide strategic leadership to ensure HR efforts and outcomes are fully aligned with business needs
  • Manage coaching and counseling on employee and labour relations
  • Develop HR content as a Subject Matter Expert

In this role, you will work closely with leaders to provide strategic HR support, maintain communication on HR systems, programs, and processes, and ensure compliance with HR policies/labour legislation.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • University or college degree in business, HR, or related field
  • 7+ years experience in HR, with relevant investigation and labour relations experience
  • ~7+ years of people management experience
  • ~ Experience with payroll and HRIS platforms

Absolutely essential skills include a strong understanding of human resources principles, practices, and procedures, as well as excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, and a generous retirement savings plan.
