The Human Resources Manager is responsible for all human resources functions and activities. This role works closely with the senior management team to lead and improve all HR functions. This role requires a high level of discretion and the safeguard of confidential information.

**Responsibilities**:

- Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations
- Manage the recruitment and selection process, including job postings, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and making job offers
- Oversee employee onboarding and orientation programs to ensure a smooth integration into the organization
- Administer employee benefits programs
- Handle employee relations issues, such as grievances, disciplinary actions, and performance improvement plans
- Maintain accurate employee records and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information
- Coordinate training and development initiatives to enhance employee skills and knowledge
- Manage payroll processes and ensure accurate and timely payment of employees
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in HR management

**Experience**:

- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Human Resources or related field required;
- Good understanding of Human Rights and Employment Standards Legislation
- Proficiency in HRIS systems, excel, and Microsoft Word
- Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Experience with change management initiatives is a plus
