The Opportunity

We're looking for a full-time, experienced, and highly motivated individual to help coordinate and support our day-to-day operations. What You'll Do

  • Plan and schedule daily delivery routes, ensuring timely and efficient execution.
  • Maintain real-time communication with drivers and proactively manage any issues or changes.
  • Collaborate with the customer service team to adapt routes and schedules based on client needs.
  • Act as a central point of contact for drivers—handling calls, messages, and support inquiries.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with drivers and customers to ensure a smooth delivery process.
  • Monitor traffic, weather, and road conditions, and assist drivers in re-routing when necessary.
  • Ensure daily dispatch coverage and provide status updates as needed.
  • Handle quoting and pricing tasks when booking new loads.
  • Use dispatch software and load boards (such as Load link) to find and assign loads.

What You Bring

  • Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Strong understanding of regional roadways and transportation routes.
  • Excellent multitasking, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
  • Calm and efficient under pressure, with a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Prior experience using dispatch tools like Loadlink; knowledge of Xpert Dispatch is an asset.
  • A commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma required.
  • Minimum 2 years of dispatching experience in logistics or transportation (required).
  • Post-secondary education in logistics, business, or operations (preferred but not required).

Job Type: Full-Time (In-Person Only)

Work Schedule:

  • 12-hour shifts
  • On-call availability
