We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Logistics Dispatcher to join our Calgary team. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced professionals who thrive in fast-paced environments and want to grow with a company that values teamwork, precision, and proactive problem-solving.
Position Overview
As a Logistics Dispatcher, you will coordinate daily delivery operations, support drivers, and maintain smooth communication across teams. You will be the heartbeat of our dispatch system, balancing efficiency, customer service, and real-time problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and schedule daily delivery routes for maximum efficiency and on-time delivery
- Communicate constantly with drivers to manage updates, delays, and rerouting
- Monitor traffic, weather, and road conditions to proactively adjust routes
- Collaborate with customer service to meet client delivery expectations
- Provide on-call support, including weekends and emergencies
- Build strong relationships with drivers and clients to ensure smooth operations
- Maintain accurate records and provide updates to internal teams
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of dispatching experience in logistics or transportation
- High school diploma (post-secondary education in logistics or business is an asset)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Knowledge of regional transportation routes and roadways
- Strong multitasking, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Calm under pressure with a collaborative, team-first attitude
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Must be able to reliably commute to our Surrey office or plan to relocate before starting
Work Schedule
- Shift Length: 10–12 hours
- Start Time: 6:00 AM (early risers preferred)
- Availability: On-call and weekends required

Note: This is an in-person role. Remote work is not available.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.85-$30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 50 per week
