Job description

Overview

High-Definition Concrete Ltd. is currently seeking an experienced and reliable Account Receivable Clerk to join our accounting team. High-Definition Concrete is a multigenerational concrete company privately owned and operated in the Greater Vancouver Area. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent communication skills, and a proven ability to manage invoices, collections, and account reconciliations efficiently.

As Account Receivable Clerk at High-Definition Concrete, your job responsibilities will consist of, but not be limited to, the following:

Key Responsibilities

· Process and post customer payments accurately and promptly

· Prepare and send invoices to clients

· Monitor accounts receivable balances and follow up on overdue accounts

· Reconcile customer accounts and resolve discrepancies

· Assist with month-end closing and reporting activities

· Maintain accurate financial records and documentation

· Communicate effectively with customers and internal departments regarding billing inquiries

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Accounts Receivable or a similar accounting role
  • Good understanding of accounting principles and financial processes
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar)
  • Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Compensation & Benefits

· Competitive salary: CA$50,000 – CA$60,000 per year (depending on experience).

· Vacation pay and statutory holiday pay (per ESA).

Schedule

· Monday – Friday , Hybrid work arrangement (1–2 days per week required in office)

· Standard 8-hour days with flexibility for site requirements.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
