Reporting to the Controller, the Accounts Receivable Clerk supports the accounts receivable functions for Teldon Media Group, including ensuring accurate billing, timely collection of receivables, processing and posting client payments, and maintaining clear communication with internal and external stakeholders.

**What an Accounts Receivable Clerk Does**:

- Prepare customer statements, consolidate bills and invoices, and reconcile customer accounts to ensure accuracy
- Post receipts to relevant company, customer and general ledger accounts, thoroughly verify transaction details and prepare receipts for bank deposits
- Compile and organize documents, prepare and post invoices and credit/debit memos to send to customers and record all transactions in Salesforce
- Assist with collections to effectively manage delinquent accounts, proactively solicit payments for overdue accounts and document all communications within Salesforce
- Generate comprehensive weekly and monthly accounts receivable reports, regularly update collection status report, providing insights into collection performance
- Complete additional duties as assigned by management

**What You’ll Need to Succeed**:

- Currently enrolled in or actively pursuing an accounting degree or diploma
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, familiarity with Dynamics Great Plains is a strong asset
- Familiarity with Salesforce is an asset
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Outstanding time management and organizational abilities with strong attention to detail in all aspects of work
- Proven track record of service excellence when interacting with internal and external stakeholders, reflecting a commitment to professionalism and positive engagement
- Strong capacity to work independently with limited supervision and collaboratively within a team environment
- Possess a strong work ethic and high level of integrity
