Job Description:

We have an opening for an experienced Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our finance team. Reporting to the Director of Finance & Administration, the position is primarily responsible for full cycle accounts receivable for our group of companies. You will be an excellent team player and thrive in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Invoicing in accordance with company policies
  • Posting Cash Receipts
  • Processing Customer Credit Applications
  • Credit and Collection Calls
  • Reconciling customer accounts, responding to inquiries, investigate discrepancies
  • Back up of Accounts Payable Clerk: Matching vendor invoices to purchase orders and packing slip, verifying and posting vendor invoices in accordance with company policies, payment processing
  • Reception Coverage
  • Other projects and tasks as assigned by the Director of Finance & Administration

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in Accounting or a related discipline, pursuing a CPA designation
  • Must have 2+ years of recent related accounting experience within a manufacturing environment
  • Proficient MS Office Skills (Office 365, Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality

Other Information:

  • This role is Monday to Friday 8:30am – 5:00pm, onsite in our Langley office
