Kitchen Staff / Server – Niloo Chicken & Grill [Esquimalt] | Full-Time / Part-Time

We're looking for a reliable, friendly, and hardworking team member to join our growing fried chicken and Persian-inspired casual restaurant If you love great food, work well under pressure, and take pride in providing warm, efficient service — we'd love to meet you.

We specialize in crispy fried chicken with a Middle Eastern twist — think golden tenders, crispy fried bone-in chicken, saffron rice bowls, fresh salads, and flavorful dips. Our team values quality, teamwork, and hospitality.

Position Overview

As a Kitchen Staff / Server, you'll play a key role in both food preparation and customer service. You'll help ensure every meal that leaves the kitchen is fresh, consistent, and delicious — and every guest leaves happy.

Responsibilities

Kitchen Duties:

  • Assist with food prep (cutting, marinating, plating, assembling orders)
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Follow food safety and hygiene standards
  • Restock ingredients and supplies as needed

Front-of-House / Server Duties:

  • Greet customers and take orders at the counter
  • Serve food and beverages efficiently
  • Maintain cleanliness in the dining area
  • Assist with packaging takeout orders and deliveries
  • Provide friendly, professional customer service at all times

Requirements

  • Previous experience in food service, hospitality, or kitchen work (preferred but not required)
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to cleanliness and detail
  • Positive attitude and team spirit
  • Food Safe Level 1 (an asset but not mandatory)
