Restaurant Supervisor – Fried Chicken & Persian Casual Restaurant [Esquimalt] | Full-Time

Position Overview

As Restaurant Supervisor, you'll oversee daily operations, support the kitchen and front-of-house teams, and ensure smooth service and consistent food quality. You'll work closely with the owner/manager to help train staff, maintain standards, and deliver an excellent dining experience every time.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and support both kitchen and service staff during shifts
  • Ensure food quality, portioning, and presentation meet restaurant standards
  • Monitor cleanliness and compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Handle cash, daily reports, and inventory management
  • Assist with scheduling, onboarding, and staff training
  • Communicate effectively with management about operations, issues, and improvements
  • Step in where needed — from taking orders to assisting in food prep — to keep things running smoothly

Requirements

  • At least 1–2 years of experience in a supervisory or lead role in food service
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure
  • Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Food Safe Level 1 (required); Level 2 is an asset
