**Job Summary**

**Key Responsibilities**

**Accounts Payable**
- Process vendor invoices with accurate coding and approvals
- Prepare weekly payment runs (EFT, cheques, credit card)
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
- Maintain vendor files and support AP month-end tasks

**Accounts Receivable**
- Process customer invoicing, statements, and account updates
- Provide backup support for collections when needed
- Maintain accurate customer records and documentation

**Administrative Support**
- Support the Controller with reporting, filing, and financial statement preparation
- Maintain organized digital and physical finance records
- Assist with vendor and customer onboarding
- Prepare spreadsheets, summaries, and process documentation
- Coordinate internal communication related to finance deadlines and approvals

**Month-End Support**
- Assist with journal entries and account reconciliations
- Help ensure accurate financial data across systems
- Support cross-functional teams with finance-related inquiries
- Prepare weekly payment runs (EFT, cheques, credit card)

- Maintain vendor files and support AP month-end tasks

**Skills Required**:

- Proven experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks and/or Sage.
- Strong understanding of financial concepts including debits & credits, journal entries, double-entry bookkeeping, and account analysis.
- Familiarity with accounts receivable/payable processes in hospitality, service, and/or healthcare sectors.
- Excellent analysis skills combined with attention to detail for account reconciliation and data accuracy.
- Effective negotiation skills for collections or vendor relations; proficient in phone etiquette and customer service.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $52,000.00-$58,000.00 per year
