**Reporting Relationship**: The AP & AR Advisor reports directly to the Controller.

**Job Summary**: The AP & AR Team manages all accounts payable and receivable job functions for Birchwood. The AP & AR Advisor plays an integral role in the full cycle process and ensures that all payables and receivables are processed efficiently and effectively. AP functions include (but are not limited to): posting invoices, reconciling statements, monitoring internal cheque requests, and dealing with vendors. AR functions include (but are not limited to): daily deposits, posting daily deposits and POS transactions, and reconciling clearing accounts. Additional weekly and monthly duties exist around reviewing accounts for accuracy and maintaining robust records.

**Shift Details**: Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

**Qualifications**:

- Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable experience is considered an asset
- Experience using CDK considered an asset
- Completed post-secondary education in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting considered an asset
- High attention to detail, proven time management, and organizational skills
- Comfort leveraging technology for most day-to-day functions
- Exceptional communication skills & ability to thrive in a collaborative environment
- Valid driver's license and own transportation to work are required
