One of Victoria’s premier Condo buildings has an exciting opportunity for a professional and experienced **Front Desk and Amenities Manager** to join our team. Located near downtown Victoria, Bayview One has 139 exclusive units in one of Victoria’s most prestigious developments.
**Job Overview**:
This position is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the front desk and amenities at Bayview One. In this position, you will liaise with the Strata Property Manager and Building Manager. This position will report directly to the strata council.
**Key responsibilities**:
**Front Desk Operations**
- Ensure consistent, professional customer service to residents and guests
- Oversee visitor management, package handling, and access control procedures
- Handle resident inquiries, complaints, and service requests promptly
- Maintain a safe and secure environment through monitoring and enforcement of building policies
**Amenity Management**
- Oversee scheduling, reservations, and use of shared amenities (guest suite, lounges, meeting rooms, etc.)
- Assist the building manager in enforcing amenity rules and usage guidelines
- Coordinate cleaning, maintenance, and inspections of all amenity spaces
- Plan and execute resident events, programs, or community-building activities
- Ensure amenities are stocked, functional, and resident-ready
- Charge building fees and track, including guest suite, photocopier charges, etc.
**Staff & Vendor Oversight**
- Manage scheduling and performance of front desk and amenities staff
- Coordinate with third-party vendors for cleaning, repairs, and equipment servicing
- Ensure compliance with safety and health regulations in all shared spaces
**Resident Services & Communication**
- Act as a primary point of contact for residents regarding amenities and front desk services
- Manage resident communication channels (newsletters, notices, digital platforms)
- Address escalated concerns in a professional and timely manner
**Administrative Duties**
- Maintain accurate records of amenity reservations, incidents, and staff schedules
- Prepare reports for building management or the condo board on amenity usage and front desk operations
- Assist in budget preparation and monitoring for front desk and amenities-related expenses
**Emergency & Safety**
- Develop and enforce emergency response procedures for front desk and amenity areas
- Train staff on emergency protocols (fire alarms, medical situations, security breaches)
- Conduct regular safety drills and inspections
**What you offer**:
- 5+ years’ experience as a Front Desk Manager in a similar-sized building
- Organized, Task-Oriented.
- Strong managerial skills.
- Proven communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as within a team.
- Must have a friendly, positive attitude and possess the ability to respond while working in a fast-paced environment.
**What can you expect from us?**
- Competitive full-time salary in the range of $70,000 - $75,000/year
- Two weeks of paid vacation
- 5 paid sick days a year

Pay: $70,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
