Administrative Assistant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated **Administrative Assistant** to support our administrative and professional staff during our busy tax season. This position is a 4 month term for January - end of April 2026.
**Core Responsibilities and Duties**
- Provide general administrative support to all NUMIS teams, including data entry, filing, and scanning documents.
- Assist in assembling and organizing client tax returns and onboarding documents.
- Save and organize client documentation and correspondence in the NUMIS’ document management system.
- Maintain and update internal tracking systems (e.g., file status, submission logs, deadlines).
- Support the E-filing process for Canadian and U.S. tax returns.
- Calling the CRA for various inquiries as directed by management
**What we are looking for**:
- Currently enrolled in a post-secondary institution pursuing a diploma or certification in Office Administration, or have recently graduated from Office Administration is considered an asset
- Experience or knowledge of personal tax is considered an asset
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a strong focus on client service
- Detail oriented individual with organizational and analytical skills
- Typing Speed 60+ WPM would be considered an asset

Contract length: 4 months
Pay: $40,000.00 per year
