Confidential - Event Execution Coordinator - 9 Month Contract

About the Opportunity
- Supervise corporate events from setup to teardown based on event plans
- Manage external parties for event execution, day of, and before
- Oversee the all deliveries and set-up for events on-site
- Ensure adherence to permits and guidelines for third-parties and internal resources
- Hands on approach to ensuring a positive environment and execution during the event
- Working closely with the internal teams for the logistical requirements of any events
- Supporting all aspects of managed events on-site including prep, setup and teardown
- Recommend process improvements pre/post events to internal stakeholders
- Inbox and calendar management
- Office administration and on-site maintenance (maintaining meeting rooms, event supplies, various ad-hoc admin tasks)
- 1+ year in event planning or event coordination in a corporate setting is considered an asset
- Proficiency in Microsoft tools – Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint, MS Forms
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to handle conflict calmly and professionally
- Strong customer service orientation with a focus on exceeding client expectations
- Strong time management and organizational skills to organize and prioritize tasks to meet event requirements
Pay Range
$24 - $28 /hour
