Job Title: Planning Manager

Polymers and packaging solutions provider Polytainers is seeking a seasoned Planning Manager to lead its supply chain operations. As a key member of the Operations Leadership team, you will be responsible for driving demand planning, supply planning, and production scheduling functions to ensure optimal inventory levels and product availability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners to develop and execute demand, supply, and scheduling processes.
  • Lead the development and implementation of advanced analytics to enhance forecasting accuracy.
  • Manage short, medium, and long-term capacity plans to determine inventory, sourcing, and intercompany strategy.
  • Establish inventory optimization strategies and monitor inventory levels to minimize carrying costs and ensure product availability.
  • Optimize production schedules to drive manufacturing efficiency and customer service.
  • Foster close relationships with internal and external stakeholders to meet expectations and uphold a customer-focused culture.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in planning, forecasting, scheduling, and/or S&OP in a fast-paced, high-volume, lean manufacturing environment.
  • Strong PC skills, including Microsoft Office applications and MRP/ERP systems.
  • Proven track record of working with people, problem resolution, and strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.
  • APICS or other related certifications a plus.
