We are seeking an experienced Strategic Talent Manager to join our team at Fitzrovia. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for leading all aspects of recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and talent management. This is a full-time role based in our Toronto office.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute comprehensive recruitment strategies to attract top talent, including meeting with hiring managers, posting roles, sourcing applicants, conducting interviews, and making hiring recommendations.
  • Lead the development and implementation of innovative search strategies for passive candidates using various resources.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team to design and post HR-centric content for social media, highlighting specific roles, company culture, and career opportunities.
  • Track key recruitment and onboarding metrics to provide insights and recommendations on a quarterly basis.
  • Manage candidate communication to ensure a positive experience throughout the recruitment process.
  • Provide subject matter expertise to hiring teams on topics such as networking, sourcing, content creation, interviewing, and candidate communication.
Onboarding / Offboarding:
  • In collaboration with other HR and Corporate Operations team members, ensure new hires are properly set up for their first day, including executing the onboarding process.
  • Maintain and execute onboarding and offboarding surveys, providing recommendations for improvement based on results.
Performance Management:
  • Assist in the administration of Fitzrovia's Performance Management program, including mid-year reviews, career conversations, year-end performance reviews, and 360 reviews.
  • Work with managers to establish career plans for high-performing team members.
General Human Resources & Culture:
  • Serve as a brand ambassador for Fitzrovia by being a positive influence and presence in all interactions with candidates, colleagues, and industry stakeholders.
  • Support business leaders with employee relations matters, including facilitating promotions, transfers, investigations, and other employee changes.
  • Collaborate with other HR team members to deliver impactful and relevant training for employees.
  • Participate in employee engagement survey initiatives, reviewing results and action planning.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Organizational Development, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • CHRP or CHRL designation an asset.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience working in HR and recruitment capacity.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a management capacity.
  • Prior real estate, construction, property management, or client service experience an asset.
  • Proven ability to interview and select candidates for various positions.
  • Strong working knowledge of provincial employment and labour legislation.
  • Excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.

The estimated salary for this position is $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits.
