Job Title: Grocery Clerk

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Grocery Clerk to join our team at Dawson City General Store Ltd.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and ensuring accurate inventory management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Service: Greet customers, respond to inquiries, and resolve issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Inventory Management: Receive and stock merchandise, maintain accurate inventory levels, and perform cycle counts as needed.
  • Store Maintenance: Ensure the store is clean, organized, and well-maintained, including sweeping, mopping, and restocking shelves.
  • Point of Sale: Operate a cash register, process transactions, and handle customer payments.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with colleagues to achieve sales goals, resolve customer issues, and maintain a positive store environment.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of retail experience or equivalent.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week.
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced retail environment with a focus on customer satisfaction and team collaboration.
