Job Title: Grocery Clerk

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Grocery Clerk to join our team at Dawson City General Store Ltd.

Job Summary:

The Grocery Clerk will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and ensuring accurate inventory management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Service: Assist customers with purchases, answer questions, and provide product information.
  • Inventory Management: Receive and stock merchandise, maintain accurate inventory levels, and report any discrepancies.
  • Store Maintenance: Clean and organize store displays, shelves, and stockrooms, and perform general cleaning duties.
  • Operations: Operate electric palette jack, order picking, and perform other tasks as required.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Work Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a retail or grocery store environment.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week.
Work Environment:

The Grocery Clerk will work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks, handling heavy loads, and physically demanding conditions.
