Job Title: Grocery Store Sales Associate

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Grocery Store Sales Associate to join our team at Dawson City General Store Ltd. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and meeting sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent customer service, answering questions and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner
  • Restock shelves, face merchandise, and maintain a clean and organized store environment
  • Process transactions accurately and efficiently, handling cash, credit card transactions, and returns
  • Participate in visual merchandising and store displays to create an attractive and engaging shopping experience
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales targets and meet customer needs

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of retail sales experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet sales targets
  • Physical ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and stand for long periods
