Job Title: Grocery Clerk

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Grocery Clerk to join our team at Dawson City General Store Ltd.

Job Summary:

The Grocery Clerk will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and ensuring accurate inventory management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Service: Greet customers, answer questions, and provide assistance with purchases.
  • Inventory Management: Receive and stock merchandise, maintain accurate inventory levels, and report any discrepancies.
  • Store Maintenance: Clean and organize store displays, shelves, and stockrooms.
  • Operational Tasks: Process transactions, handle customer returns, and perform other tasks as required.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Work Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a retail or customer service environment.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week.
Work Environment:

The Grocery Clerk will work in a fast-paced retail environment with a focus on providing excellent customer service and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Physical Demands:

The Grocery Clerk will be required to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and perform other physical tasks as required.
