Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Grocery Store Associate to join our team at Dawson City General Store Ltd. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and ensuring accurate inventory management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent customer service, answering questions and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner
  • Restock shelves, maintain inventory levels, and ensure accurate pricing and labeling
  • Operate a cash register, handle customer transactions, and maintain a high level of accuracy
  • Participate in visual merchandising, including creating attractive displays and maintaining a clean and organized store environment
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive store atmosphere
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a retail or customer service environment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks and priorities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and stand for long periods
