FuseSocial Wood Buffalo Society is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Diversity Business Partner to join our Shared Services Division.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic advisory support to assigned community benefit agencies, including expertise on Human Resources, employee investigation support, salary and benefit planning, human resource policy and procedure development, training facilitation, job description review and development, employee relations, interviewing, hiring, and offers, and other HR needs.

To be effective in this role, you will have a proven track record of fostering and maintaining positive and collaborative relationships with operational leaders and HR networks.

You will be adaptable and flexible, with the ability to prioritize and multitask while working effectively independently in collaboration with others in a fast-paced and progressive environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide strategic advisory support to assigned community benefit agencies
  • Develop and implement human resource policies and procedures
  • Facilitate training and development programs
  • Conduct employee investigations and provide support
  • Develop and implement salary and benefit plans
  • Provide HR support to clients
Requirements:
  • Undergraduate degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Commerce, or equivalent
  • Minimum of 4 years of work experience in a progressively responsible role as HR Business Partner, HR Generalist, HR Advisor
  • CPHR designation is considered an asset
  • Knowledge of HR best practices in full cycle recruitment, employee relations, compensation, performance management, orientation, workforce planning
  • Strategic outlook to support the objectives and goals for numerous community benefit sector organizations
