Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Human Resources Generalist to join our team at NAPA Auto Parts Fort McMurray. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying current and prospective staffing requirements, collecting and screening applicants, and advising job applicants on employment requirements and terms and conditions of employment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify current and prospective staffing requirements
  • Collect and screen applicants
  • Advise job applicants on employment requirements and terms and conditions of employment
  • Review candidate inventories
  • Contact potential applicants to arrange interviews
  • Recruit graduates of colleges, universities, and other educational institutions
  • Co-ordinate and participate in selection and examination boards to evaluate candidates
  • Notify applicants of results of selection process and prepare job offers
  • Advise managers and employees on staffing policies and procedures
  • Organize staff consultation and grievance procedures
  • Determine eligibility to entitlements and arrange staff training
  • Supervise personnel clerks performing filing, typing, and record-keeping duties
  • Recruit and hire staff
  • Prepare budgets and payrolls
  • Arrange schedules
  • Oversee payroll administration

Working Conditions

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and repetitive tasks. They will be required to work under pressure and have excellent oral and written communication skills.
