You will be responsible for leading team efforts to support the nutritional health of patients, clients, and communities through health promotion, disease prevention, treatment, support, and rehabilitation.
", "ul": [{"li": "Bachelor\u2019s degree with major concentration in Foods and Nutrition required"}, {"li": "Dietetic Internship Program required"}, {"li": "Current registration (or eligibility) with the Nova Scotia Dietetic Association is required"}, {"li": "Minimum one year working experience as a dietitian preferred"}, {"li": "Inpatient clinical nutrition experience an asset"}, {"li": "Competency in dysphagia management, enteral and parenteral nutrition"}, {"li": "Experience counselling patients in an outpatient setting"}, {"li": "Current WHMIS an asset"}, {"li": "Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office computer applications, Familiarity with the Meditech considered an asset information system considered an asset"}, {"li": "Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills"}, {"li": "Ability to prioritize, problem solve, and work under pressure of time limitations"}, {"li": "Demonstrated participation in continuing education and upgrading of skills"}, {"li": "Ability to work independently and as a member of a multidisciplinary healthcare team"}, {"li": "Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred"}], "h2": "Hours
