About the Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Regional Nutrition Specialist to join our team at Shannex Incorporated. As a key member of our dietary services team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the nutritional needs of our residents are met.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement menus that meet therapeutic nutrition guidelines.
- Assess resident's nutritional status and develop personalized nutrition care plans.
- Address client's individual dietary concerns and establish personalized nutrition needs.
- Oversee and plan special nutrition needs for residents with dietary restrictions or allergies.
- Present educational sessions on nutrition and related topics to staff and residents.
- Communicate nutrition care plans to residents, families, and staff as needed.
- Collect and enter data into our database and document clinical nutrition indicators monthly.
- Administer the operating budget for dietary services and oversee the preparation of purchase orders and invoices.
About You
We are looking for a highly motivated and organized individual with a passion for delivering exceptional care to our residents. You will bring:
- A Bachelor of Science in Nutrition or a related field.
- Membership with a professional nutrition association.
- Excellent communication, computer, and organizational skills.
- A passion for the healthcare sector and ensuring seniors have access to quality accommodations, services, and care.
- Experience in a long-term care setting is an asset.
