About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Sous Chef to join our team at Osmows- Clarkson. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and presentation of our menu items, ensuring that they meet the highest standards of quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Execution
    • Develop and implement menus that showcase our culinary expertise and meet the tastes and preferences of our customers.
    • Work closely with our chefs to ensure that menu items are prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • Inventory Management
    • Manage inventory levels to ensure that we have the necessary ingredients and supplies to meet customer demand.
    • Requisition food and kitchen supplies as needed to maintain optimal inventory levels.
  • Staff Management
    • Train and supervise kitchen staff to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge necessary to prepare and present menu items to the highest standards.
    • Develop and implement training programs to ensure that staff are up-to-date with the latest culinary techniques and trends.
  • Quality Control
    • Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure that menu items meet the highest standards of quality and presentation.
    • Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to ensure that our menu items meet the highest standards.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience
    • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role
  • Skills
    • Excellent culinary skills and knowledge of food preparation and presentation
    • Strong leadership and management skills
    • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
