Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at The Chef Mom. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading our culinary operations, managing kitchen staff, and ensuring the highest standards of food quality and presentation.
Key Responsibilities- Food Preparation and Presentation
- Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
- Develop and implement new menu ideas and recipes to enhance our culinary offerings.
- Kitchen Management
- Lead and manage a team of kitchen staff, providing guidance, support, and training to ensure excellent performance and teamwork.
- Manage kitchen inventory, supplies, and equipment to optimize efficiency and minimize waste.
- Quality Control and Assurance
- Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure compliance with health and safety standards and company policies.
- Implement quality control measures to ensure consistency and excellence in food preparation and presentation.
- Customer Service
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer feedback and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Develop and maintain relationships with customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure a positive and collaborative environment.
- Education and Experience
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
- Skills and Abilities
- Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects.
