Human Resources and Payroll Specialist

The Havre des Cantons residence is seeking a Human Resources and Payroll Technician with excellent experience, professionalism, and a commitment to the well-being of seniors.
Job SummaryWe are looking for a skilled professional to join our team as a Human Resources and Payroll Technician. This is a permanent full-time position, Monday to Friday, with a consistent schedule and stimulating challenges.
About the Role- Act as a resource person for temporary staff placement agencies and managers.
- Apply and respect established procedures.
- Take responsibility for staffing in your area; onboard, train, and integrate new personnel.
- Supervise, hire, and evaluate personnel to ensure sufficient numbers of qualified and competent personnel.
- Sort CVs and conduct initial telephone interviews when management decides to hire service assistants.
- Supervise work schedules and organize staff replacements as needed.
- Optimize human resources in support of operational and financial efficiency objectives.
- Ensure effective communication to your teams and to the residence in general.
- Collaborate on various residence committees as required.
- Design training calendars.
- Research, collect, and compile information for reports and transmit to all vested parties.
- Work in Microsoft Excel to update data.
- Follow up on dossiers, monitor schedules, issue reminders, and obtain requested information in a timely manner.
- Participate in management committees to improve procedures.
- Produce required reports.
- Support the general manager in their duties.
