Purpose of the position

The Havre des Cantons residence is currently looking for a Human Resources and Payroll Technician, with good experience, professional, committed and who has the interests and well-being of elderly people at heart for a permanent full-time position Monday to Friday. Specifically, your daily life with us will look like : Act as a resource person for temporary staff placement agencies and managers Apply and respect the established procedure Take responsibility for staffing in your area; onboard, train and integrate new personnel Supervise, hire and evaluate personnel to ensure sufficient numbers of qualified and competent personnel If necessary, sort CVs and conduct initial telephone interviews when management decides to hire service assistants Supervise work schedules and organize staff replacements as need Optimize human resources in support of operational and financial efficiency objectives Ensure effective communication to your teams and to the residence in general If required, collaborate on the various residence committees Design training calendars Research, collect and compile information for reports and transmit to all vested parties Work in Microsoft Excel to update data Follow up on dossiers, monitor schedules, issue reminders and obtain requested information in a timely manner in keeping with established time limits Participate in the management committees to improve procedures Produce required reports Support the general manager in his duties
