About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team in Mississauga. As a key member of our technical support team, you will be responsible for providing top-notch support to our applications, ensuring swift resolution of issues and meeting service-level expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Application Support: Provide technical and business support for applications, troubleshooting issues, and driving continuous improvement.
  • System Maintenance: Manage, maintain, and monitor applications, ensuring stability and quality of operations.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Develop technical support documentation and assess risks to ensure compliance with operational standards.
  • Incident Management: Diagnose and escalate issues, considering risk and impact, and communicate with relevant stakeholders.
  • Collaboration: Partner with development and production teams to prioritize fixes, support tooling requirements, and ensure seamless application releases.
  • Compliance & Security: Identify and mitigate risks, vulnerabilities, and security issues while adhering to compliance policies.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of ITIL, SQL, Unix, and Windows is essential.
  • Programming language experience is a plus.
  • Experience with issue tracking, reporting tools, and problem management tools is required.

Estimated Salary Range:$85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
