Job Title: Experienced Payroll Specialist

We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Payroll Specialist to join our client's team in downtown Edmonton. As a key member of their professional services industry, this role offers a dynamic and collaborative environment that fosters innovation and professional growth.

Responsibilities:
- Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Oversee payroll management, reporting, and record maintenance using the Dayforce system.
- Stay updated on regulatory changes affecting payroll and pension practices, ensuring adherence to current laws.
- Collaborate with the organization to streamline operations, enhance efficiency, and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Maintain and update payroll information, including employee records, tax filings, and benefits deductions.
- Prepare and analyze payroll reports using insights to recommend process improvements.
- Manage and optimize the Dayforce payroll system, integrating it with other HR and accounting systems as needed.
- Identify opportunities for process automation and system enhancements.

Requirements:
- A minimum of 5-8 years of hands-on experience in payroll administration roles.
- Possession of PCP (Payroll Compliance Practitioner) designation is a must.
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, Accounting, or related field is an asset.
- Expertise in using Dayforce software for payroll administration is a bonus.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Proven ability to handle confidential information with integrity.

Compensation and Benefits:
- Generous compensation package including annual salary: $**85,000**
