Enhance Credit Risk Strategies with Us

We're seeking an accomplished Credit Strategy Director to spearhead the development and implementation of comprehensive credit risk strategies for our enterprise-level credit cards.

About This Opportunity:

  • This role will involve leading a high-performing team that utilizes data-driven insights to create and execute credit strategies across the credit card life cycle.
  • The ideal candidate will have expertise in developing and implementing lifetime value-based credit adjudication strategies, as well as experience with credit risk models and vendor relationships.
  • This position requires strong analytical skills, including the ability to gather, analyze, organize, document, and present complex information in a clear and concise manner.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize credit approval rates while minimizing customer friction and portfolio losses.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive analytically based strategies and deliver business results.
  • Leverage data and analytics tools to identify trends and opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Monitor and report on credit strategy performance, providing actionable insights to senior management.
  • Manage key vendor relationships, including the credit bureau and decision-engine provider.

Requirements:

  • A University Degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Business, or Engineering) or equivalent.
  • At least 7 years of experience in risk management, preferably in the financial services/fintech industry.
  • Proven leadership experience, with a minimum of 7 years of experience in a leadership capacity.
  • A combined minimum of 10+ years of experience analyzing credit card data, implementing credit risk strategies, and making strategic recommendations to senior management.
