Job Title: Head Chef for Como Sushi Enterprises Ltd
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Chef to join our team at Como Sushi Enterprises Ltd. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing the kitchen operations, managing staff, and ensuring the highest quality dishes are served to our customers.
About the Role:
- The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a senior culinary role, with a proven track record of success in leading high-performing teams.
- You will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods, as well as training staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food.
- An important aspect of this role is ordering supplies and equipment, supervising kitchen staff and helpers, maintaining inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment, cleaning kitchen and work areas, and recruiting and hiring staff.
- Additionally, you will manage kitchen operations, including menu planning, food costing, and inventory management.
Requirements:
- A degree in Culinary Arts or equivalent experience is preferred.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills are essential for this role, as you will be working closely with chefs, cooks, and other kitchen staff to ensure seamless service.
- You must be able to multitask, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines while maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are also necessary for this position.
