Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Executive Chef to lead our kitchen operations at Samurai Sushi Restaurant. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and cooking of high-quality meals, managing inventory, and supervising kitchen staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement menus that showcase our culinary expertise and adhere to quality standards
  • Manage kitchen operations, including food preparation, presentation, and service
  • SUPERVISE AND TRAIN KITCHEN STAFF TO ENSURE EFFICIENT SERVICE AND HIGHEST QUALITY STANDARDS
  • Maintain accurate records of food costs, inventory levels, and labor hours
  • ORDER SUPPLIES AND EQUIPMENT AS NEEDED TO ENSURE OPTIMAL KITCHEN OPERATIONS
  • Cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and work areas
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Culinary Arts or related field
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as an Executive Chef or similar role
  • Proven track record of leading high-performing kitchen teams and driving results
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
Compensation

The estimated salary for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience. Benefits include health insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
