About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Administrative Assistant to join our team at Total Life Care Medical Inc.

Job Summary

This is a permanent, full-time opportunity that involves providing administrative support in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administrative Tasks:
    • Coordinate the flow of information between patients, physicians, and staff.
    • Process incoming mail and other materials, including insurance claims and correspondence.
    • Schedule appointments and maintain patient records.
  • Office Management:
    • Maintain a well-organized filing system and inventory of office supplies.
    • Order supplies and equipment as needed.
  • Clinical Support:
    • Enter medical reports and correspondence into electronic systems.
    • Prepare spreadsheets and documents for review by healthcare professionals.
  • Patient Interaction:
    • Provide exceptional customer service to patients and their families.
    • Initiate and maintain confidential medical files and records.
Requirements
  • Education: Other trades certificate or diploma.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting.
Work Environment

This role will be based in a clinic or physician's office environment. You will work under pressure to meet deadlines and provide excellent service to patients and colleagues.

Compensation

The estimated salary for this position is $45,000 per year, based on industry standards and location. This is a competitive offer that reflects the skills and qualifications required for this role.
