Job Title: Medical Office Coordinator

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Office Coordinator to join our team at Olive Tree Medical Clinic. As a Medical Office Coordinator, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our healthcare team, ensuring the smooth operation of our clinic.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interview patients to obtain case histories and maintain accurate records
  • Manage incoming mail and other materials, and distribute them to the relevant staff members
  • Schedule and confirm appointments, and maintain a calendar of upcoming events
  • Train staff in procedures and software, and provide guidance on office protocols
  • Complete insurance and other claim forms, and maintain accurate records
  • Maintain a filing system, and order supplies as needed
  • Determine and establish office procedures and routines, and ensure compliance with clinic policies
  • Enter and format medical reports and correspondence, and prepare spreadsheets and documents for review
  • Initiate and maintain confidential medical files and records, and ensure confidentiality and security
  • Prepare draft agendas for meetings, and take, transcribe, and distribute minutes
  • Provide excellent customer service, and respond to patient inquiries and concerns

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of experience in a medical office setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure, and maintain attention to detail
  • Organized and efficient, with a strong ability to prioritize tasks
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and security of patient records
