Job Title: Human Resources Generalist

At Assembly & Standards, we are seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Generalist to join our team at Silvertip Resort in Canmore, Alberta. As a key member of our HR team, you will play a vital role in supporting the success of our employees and the resort as a whole.

Job Summary:

The Human Resources Generalist will be responsible for managing day-to-day HR operations, maintaining employee records, and providing exceptional support to employees and management. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and organized individual to join our team and contribute to the success of our resort.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage HR functions and duties, including employee onboarding, benefits administration, and performance management.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, both physically and electronically.
  • Provide exceptional support to employees and management, answering HR-related queries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assist with recruitment, selection, and hiring processes, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for candidates and hiring managers.
  • Support management in audits and annual performance reviews, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate health and safety initiatives, including training and development programs.
  • Organize and coordinate staff accommodation, ensuring a seamless experience for employees.
  • Assist with payroll processing and procedures, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Conduct workplace investigations and assist with terminations, evictions, and progressive disciplinary discussions.
  • Fulfill the full-cycle recruitment process, ensuring a high-quality candidate experience.
  • Ensure WCB claims are filed and return-to-work efforts are maximized.
Requirements:
  • Post-secondary education in Human Resources or a related field.
  • 1 year of HR experience, preferably in a hospitality or resort setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with employees at all levels.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • IT literacy, with the ability to learn and work with multiple information systems.
  • Valid Canadian work permit.
