About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Restaurant Assistant Manager to join our team at Tim Horton's. As a key member of our restaurant management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant, providing exceptional customer service, and leading a team of dedicated employees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Restaurant Operations
    • Develop and implement operational procedures to ensure efficient service delivery and high-quality food products.
    • Manage cash handling and complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms.
    • Conduct performance reviews and provide coaching to team members to improve performance.
  • Customer Service
    • Provide exceptional customer service to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
    • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and timely manner.
  • Team Leadership
    • Lead and motivate a team of 5-10 employees to achieve sales and customer service goals.
    • Develop and implement training programs to improve employee skills and knowledge.
  • Inventory Management
    • Organize and maintain inventory levels to ensure efficient service delivery and minimize waste.
  • Marketing and Sales
    • Participate in marketing plans and implementation to drive sales and customer growth.
  • Health and Safety
    • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Computer and Technology
    • Operate electronic cash registers, point-of-sale systems, and other technology to manage restaurant operations.
  • Work Conditions
    • Work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and repetitive tasks.
    • Stand for extended periods and maintain a high level of energy and focus.
  • Personal Qualities
    • Be accurate, client-focused, dependable, efficient, and organized.
    • Develop and maintain excellent oral and written communication skills.
    • Be a team player and demonstrate flexibility and reliability.
    Requirements
    • 2 years of experience in a restaurant management role.
    • High school diploma or equivalent required.
    • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
    • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
