Mediabistro is seeking a highly skilled Director of Corporate Communications to lead our public relations and community engagement efforts. As VP of Public Relations & Community Engagement, you will play a key role in shaping the company's reputation and maintaining strong relationships with local, regional, and national media outlets.

The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience in a PR, Communications or Media role and a university degree in an applicable field. You will be responsible for implementing digital engagement tools to maximize the organization's share of voice and sentiment across all mediums.

A competitive salary of $120,000 per year is being offered for this position, commensurate with qualifications and experience. The location of this position is Regina, SK. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams, including advertising, brand, and corporate voice teams, to curate content for distribution.

You will also be responsible for staying informed of current and future government policy that may affect the organization and its customers, and working with internal stakeholders to respond. Additionally, you will develop and manage organizational strategies that strengthen relationships with government officials.

In this role, you will craft and manage a comprehensive sponsorship strategy to maximize the organization's impact in the communities in which we operate. You will strategically use sponsorship dollars to achieve corporate objectives through community engagement initiatives.

We are looking for a team-oriented individual with leading skills in communication (written and verbal), who is willing to collaborate with specialized groups in content creation.
