Travel Consultant Role at Brandt

Brandt is seeking a skilled Travel Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our corporate travel department, you will be responsible for planning and booking travel arrangements for our employees.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Planning and booking transportation, accommodations, and other travel services using Sabre (GDS)
  • Collaborating with employees to determine their travel needs and providing advice on modes of transportation, travel dates, costs, and accommodations
  • Providing accurate and thorough information regarding trips
  • Offering customized corporate services to employees
  • Planning itineraries and providing excellent customer service
  • Researching and resolving travel-related issues
  • Staying up-to-date on industry developments
  • Reviewing travel reservations for compliance with travel policy and procedures
  • Ensuring all reservations pass quality control prior to ticketing
  • Supporting team members and making alternative booking arrangements as needed
  • Providing guidance on required documentation, passports, visas, insurance, and other travel requirements

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in a corporate travel management company, preferably with experience in Sabre GDS and/or a travel school graduate
  • Familiarity with domestic and international travel
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
  • Team player with a professional and resourceful style
  • Ability to work independently and as a team player, take initiative, and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
  • High energy and passion for the work of the Brandt Group of Companies
  • Entrepreneurial approach and strong customer focus
