Job Summary

The Plant Human Resources Manager will be responsible for delivering human resources support to a manufacturing facility. This challenging and hands-on HR position will support the manufacturing plant through partnering and driving the implementation of HR processes and initiatives throughout the plant, promoting a result-oriented and performance-driven culture. The HR Manager will also interface with the plant manufacturing team on critical HR initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement HR processes and initiatives to support the manufacturing plant.
  • Partner with the plant manufacturing team to drive the implementation of HR processes and initiatives.
  • Ensure the execution of talent management processes, including workforce planning, recruiting, performance management, employee development, and succession planning.
  • Responsible for manufacturing organizational effectiveness (MOE) and organizational health.
  • Optimize personnel performance and efficiency.
  • Support the manufacturing plant by providing strategic HR counsel and driving the company's HR practices.
  • Overview operations schedules and overtime needs by working closely with operations teams.
  • Overview administrative HR responsibilities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor degree required.
  • At least 5 to 7 years of professional HR experience in a 24/7 manufacturing environment.
  • HR systems and tech-savvy.
  • Must have a CHRP certification.
  • Experience in a union environment.
  • Candidate must be fluent in written and spoken English.
