About the Role:

KANVI ENTERPRISE INC. is seeking a skilled Cook to join our culinary team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food and service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas to maintain cleanliness and organization.
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Order supplies and equipment to maintain inventory levels.
  • Supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure efficient workflow.
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
  • Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
  • Manage kitchen operations to ensure timely and efficient service.
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional manner.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
  • Supervise and coordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food.
  • Supervise and check assembly of trays.
  • Prepare food order summaries for the chef.
  • Establish methods to meet work schedules.
  • Establish work schedules.
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.

Work Environment:

  • Permanent position.
  • 35 hours per week.
  • English language.
