Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Culinary Specialist to join our team at Empress of India Restaurant. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals and individual dishes, maintaining inventory and records, and ensuring health and safety regulations are followed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook complete meals and individual dishes, following recipes and presentation guidelines.
  • Maintain accurate inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed, including food safety and handling practices.
  • Clean kitchen and work areas, maintaining a clean and organized environment.
  • Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to achieve team goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Excellent culinary skills and knowledge of food preparation and presentation.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
