About the Role:
Finkle Street Tap & Grill is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Sous Chef to join our team. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and presentation of our menu items, ensuring that they meet the highest standards of quality and presentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the preparation and presentation of menu items, ensuring that they meet the highest standards of quality and presentation.
- Supervise and train kitchen staff, including cooks, sous chefs, and other kitchen personnel.
- Develop and implement new menu items and specials, ensuring that they are aligned with the restaurant's brand and quality standards.
- Manage kitchen inventory, including ordering and receiving supplies, and maintaining accurate records of inventory levels.
- Ensure that the kitchen is clean and organized, and that all equipment is in good working order.
- Collaborate with the restaurant's management team to develop and implement new menu items, promotions, and marketing initiatives.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience as a sous chef or executive chef in a high-volume restaurant environment.
- Proven track record of success in menu development, kitchen management, and staff supervision.
- Excellent culinary skills, including knowledge of food preparation, presentation, and plating.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and train kitchen staff.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.
