Administrative Support Specialist

**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled Administrative Support Specialist to join our team at Boyle Street Community Services. As a key member of our operations team, you will provide administrative support to our Senior Management team and Directors, ensuring the smooth operation of our programs and services.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Provide administrative support to the Senior Management team and Directors, including maintaining accurate records, preparing reports, and coordinating meetings and events.

* Maintain a positive employee relations environment and build strong relationships with the administration and operations team, front-line employees, and leaders.

* Implement and maintain administration organization and data management systems, ensuring accurate and timely data entry and reporting.

* Assist with the development, implementation, management, review, and storage of organizational policies, including accreditation standards, occupational health and safety, and human resources.

* Monitor active program projects, create presentations and spreadsheets, and conduct research on financial requirements for various projects.

* Create and maintain a database of client information, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy.

* Work with all departments and programs to ensure performance, productivity, and functionality.

* Facilitate IT and infrastructure support with contractors and BSCS staff.

* Research and provide recommendations for effective practices for BSCS related to policies and infrastructure.

* Provide administrative support in the processing of funding reports for programs.

**Requirements**

* Post-Secondary Degree in Business Commerce, Administration, or Human Resources and/or relevant work experience.

* ~5 years of experience working in an administrative role and at least 2 years working in a Senior position.

* ~Experience of research and development of organizational policies.

* ~Police Check with the Vulnerable Sector and Child and Youth Intervention Check completed within the past six months.

* ~Valid Class 5 Non GDL license and access to a reliable vehicle are considered assets.

* ~Experience with and knowledge of Indigenous culture and ceremonies is considered an asset.
