The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Head of Mortgage Law and Compliance to join our team. As a key member of our leadership group, you will play a critical role in leading, managing, and documenting our underwriting and funding activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all regulatory requirements are met in relation to funding loans and issuing advances, managing security documentation, and coordinating with external legal counsel.
  • Mortgage Administration: Assist in coordinating legal agreements related to ongoing projects with external counsel, coordinate documentation of amendments and renewals, and provide support with special loans activity.
  • Compliance Monitoring: Assist the compliance department with borrower follow-ups on loan deliverables, prepare notices/reminders to borrowers to ensure timely delivery of loan obligations, and assist in documenting contractual mortgage renewals, extensions, and amendments.

Compensation Package

We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, based on experience, plus benefits and opportunities for growth and professional development.
