Job Summary
">We are seeking a highly experienced Key Account Manager to join our team in Ottawa, Canada. As a seasoned professional in the defence and security industry, you will be responsible for developing and executing business strategies to win new contracts and expand our market share.
">About the Role
">This is a challenging opportunity for a results-driven individual who is passionate about business development and has a proven track record of success in identifying, pursuing, and winning large and small business opportunities in the Canadian government market.
">You will work closely with our sales team to develop and execute targeted sales strategies, identify new business opportunities, and build strong relationships with key decision-makers at the Department of National Defence (DND) and Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC).
">Responsibilities
">• Develop and execute business strategies to win new contracts and expand our market share in the defence and security industry.
">• Identify, pursue, and bid on large and small business opportunities in the Canadian government market.
">• Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at DND and PSPC.
">• Collaborate with our sales team to develop and execute targeted sales strategies.
">• Analyze market trends and competitor activity to inform business decisions.
">• Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on sales performance and market developments.
">Requirements
">To be successful in this role, you will need:
">• Minimum 10 years of experience in the defence and security industry, with a proven track record of success in business development and sales.
">• Strong understanding of the Canadian government procurement process and familiarity with relevant policies and regulations.
">• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to build strong partnerships with key stakeholders.
">• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and inform business decisions.
">• Ability to travel within Canada as required.
">What We Offer
">We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision coverage, as well as RRSP matching.

">This role is based in Ottawa, Canada, and requires frequent travel to other locations within the country.
