We are seeking a highly experienced Key Account Manager to join our team in Ottawa, Canada. As a seasoned professional in the defence and security industry, you will be responsible for developing and executing business strategies to win new contracts and expand our market share.

This is a challenging opportunity for a results-driven individual who is passionate about business development and has a proven track record of success in identifying, pursuing, and winning large and small business opportunities in the Canadian government market.

You will work closely with our sales team to develop and execute targeted sales strategies, identify new business opportunities, and build strong relationships with key decision-makers at the Department of National Defence (DND) and Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC).

Responsibilities

">

• Develop and execute business strategies to win new contracts and expand our market share in the defence and security industry.

">

• Identify, pursue, and bid on large and small business opportunities in the Canadian government market.

">

• Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at DND and PSPC.

">

• Collaborate with our sales team to develop and execute targeted sales strategies.

">

• Analyze market trends and competitor activity to inform business decisions.

">

• Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on sales performance and market developments.

Requirements

">

To be successful in this role, you will need:

">

• Minimum 10 years of experience in the defence and security industry, with a proven track record of success in business development and sales.

">

• Strong understanding of the Canadian government procurement process and familiarity with relevant policies and regulations.

">

• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to build strong partnerships with key stakeholders.

">

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and inform business decisions.

">

• Ability to travel within Canada as required.

What We Offer

">

We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision coverage, as well as RRSP matching.

Location

This role is based in Ottawa, Canada, and requires frequent travel to other locations within the country.
