Responsibilities

Key responsibilities of this role include administering assigned subcontracts, maintaining a review of progress, and providing management with information about projected financial or contractual difficulties. You will work closely with subcontractors to determine their rates and resource lists while ensuring transparency related to all rates and change requests. The successful candidate will also coordinate operational activities affecting contractual rights and obligations, subcontract performance, and subcontract administration. Furthermore, they will ensure that subcontractors comply with subcontract requirements and negotiate variations, claims, and change issues with subcontractors.

In addition to these responsibilities, the ideal candidate will participate in subcontractor kickoff meetings and review meetings, maintain meeting minutes, source suppliers and subcontractors, and work with engineering consultants to ensure that their commercial deliverables meet project requirements. They will also administer contractor warranties, insurance, and bonds as needed. Other key tasks may include progress payment coordination, schedule monitoring, claims administration, and other duties assigned by the management team.
